The Issue of Russian Identity

Abstract

The issue of Russian Identity is a topic which has received its attention after the break of Soviet Union. Now, it emerged as a significant issue in conjunction with the emerging Russian state. To realize the value of the state and its importance in the world politics became an issue of my work and considerations. I describe the value of Russian state in the state system, and give a theoretical support to the issue of Russian identity. I use a theory of constructivism to describe the phenomenon of Russian identity and give support to a state construction. I use the views of Russian politicians and foreign theoreticians to fully open up the question of Russian identity.
