Tiivistelmä
This study conducts an exploratory literature review on the effectiveness of using gamification in supporting the integration of international students. One of the biggest challenges faced by international students in their host country is struggling to adapt to a new culture both academically and socially. This review was designed to examine how effective gamified approaches can be at creating an environment that is conducive to helping create a sense of belonging for international students by facilitating social and cultural interactions between international and domestic students.
