Проблемы составления тематического словаря медицинской лексики для целей социального перевода

Abstract

In this article, we discuss information needs of community interpreters working in the healthcare sector, as well as information needs of students studying medical interpretation. We describe the principles of compilation of a Finnish-Russian thematic glossary of healthcare terminology designed for medical interpreters and students. Finally, we go through the main challenges of the project and justify our solutions to them.
