Towards a sustainable Skanssi

Abstract

Course publication. The publication contains course works submitted for the Sustainble Design Studio 2013 which concentrate on the future development of the Skanssi area in Turku. For the publication six student groups' analyses and structure & masterplan –proposals have been gathered. In addition to that, selected individual works by 12 students are shown in this publication. Furthermore this publication contains a green roof and storm water management analysis and an environmental and landscape management proposal for the new residential areas.
