Abstract

This article deals with prefixless verbs with suffixes -ova(t’) (orth. also -eva(t’)), -izova(t’), -irova(t’), -izirova(t’), -izirova(t’) (66 units), which appeared in the Russian language in 2000–2020. The relevance of the study is determined by novelty of the material, which has no systematic representation and lexicographic description so far. The central tasks are: 1) to consider the problem of distinguishing between prefixless new verbs, originated on the basis of the Russian language (by suffixation), and verb borrowings, suffixed in the process of borrowing into Russian; 2) to establish the derivational productivity of these formants in recent time; 3) to describe the orthographic variation of verbs of this structure and their word-formation synonymy; 4) to determine their semantic and stylistic features; 5) to reveal the degree of participation of these new verbs in the processes of neologisation in Russian. The main research methods are: descriptive, comparative, statistical.
