Systematization of State Management to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract

The research topic is systematization of state management to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City. In order to achieve the research objectives, secondary data including the analysis, synthesis, systematization, generalization of existing documents from official sources, from previous research authors, articles, magazines, books, internet, etc. from reports of Tan Phu District authorities - Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on issues related to sustainable poverty reduction, is used in this study. Inductive - interpretation method is used by the author to express, analyze and explain issues related to poverty, poverty reduction and sustainable poverty reduction, thereby generalizing the status of state management on sustainable poverty reduction in Tan Phu District in HCMC, to provide specific solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities. Participatory analysis method is used in order to analyze sustainable poverty reduction. In addition to analyzing secondary documents, the author has also interviewed management officials of the agencies involved in the reduction poor in Tan Phu District in HCMC. Additionally a survey was conducted with 3 subjects: poor people; officials and public servants in the communes; district-level leading officials and public employees. The main purpose of the survey was to collect the primary information needed to analyze and evaluate state management activities on sustainable poverty reduction. From the results of the assessment of the state management of poverty reduction in Tan Phu District in HCMC, the study suggests solutions to improve the efficiency of state management on poverty reduction of Tan Phu District in HCMC. The thesis can be a practical reference for cadres and civil servants working on state management of poverty reduction in Tan Phu District in HCMC.
