Tiivistelmä
The History of Learning and Science in Finland 1828-1918, a series of Finnish histories of science from the era of the Imperial Alexander University, was completed when the final volume of the History of Philosophy and Psychology was published in 2021.Originally, Georg Henrik von Wright (1916-2003) was to have been responsible for writing this volume, but the task was passed on to Juha Manninen. The latter is the author of the largest part of the book, which has now been published, with Marja Jalava and Ilkka Niiniluoto as co-authors, and Juhani Ihanus, who wrote the psychology section. In the following I will briefly examine the whole series and then the place of the philosophy and psychology section in the historiography of Finnish philosophy.
