The chapter investigates the spread of demonological scholarship into Finland by examining what can be known of a "witch-hunter's reading list": What did the Judge in Åland witchhunt 1666-1670 cite in his records? By examining also when these citations were made, the chapter investigates the practical influence of the Continental European demonological and legal literature in the conducting of the Plan witchctrials.
